Most of the city's slopes fall under the Baseline Hillside Ordinance and, in designated Hillside Construction Regulation areas, additional limits on grading, hauling, and construction hours. LADBS grading division review, geotechnical approval, and deputy inspection are standard on every hillside job. We manage that process and self-perform the caissons, retaining walls, and structure the approvals depend on.
